About the Artist.

Mary Coughlin has been painting and designing all her life. She began her journey in painting professionally when she established herself as a painting apprentice at Designs Direct Creative Studio in Covington, KY while attending the University of Kentucky where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Architecture. Since graduating from UK in 2017, she has continued working as an Architectural Designer in Louisville, KY as well as the greater New York City area. While architecture and design remain her main focus in her career, painting remains a personal passion.

Her favorite part is working closely with clients to achieve their vision. Whether the piece is meant to compliment a space, capture a personal moment, or meant to be shared as a gift to a friend, her enjoyment for creating is driven by the clients she works with!
